The AG Rock Band 3 DLC Jamboree - 27th April, 2011
Feature from Nat - Wednesday, 27 April 2011 @ 11:55am
This weekly article will serve as a guide for what DLC is appearing on the various digital Rock Band stores this week in history. With a veritable bevy of usually quite decent content appearing every week, hopefully this article can serve as somewhat of a guide for what to look out for and what to avoid like the clappers.
Rock Band 3:
Decent releases this week, with five pretty good tracks from two pretty good bands.
Roy Orbison: 75th Birthday Pack (440MSP)
• Blue Bayou
• Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)
• Only the Lonely (Know the Way I Feel) (Pro)
• KISS – Rock and Roll All Nite (Live) (Pro)
• KISS – Strutter (Live)
I think the KISS songs will be pretty damn cool to play, but I can't help but think that Roy Orbison probably skews a little too old for my tastes. Still, two new songs is a good haul.
Rock Band Network:
Another big week of activity on RBN 2.0, with another couple of stunners from Steve Fister, Andromeda and Nightshade. Keep an eye out for Andromeda's Veil of Illumination - so long it had to be split in half! For the love of all that is holy, if you can play Part 2, you are a god.
The Acro-Brats - Hair Trigger
Amberian Dawn - The Curse
Andromeda - Chameleon Carneval
Andromeda - Veil of Illumination (Part 1)
Andromeda - Veil of Illumination (Part 2)
Insomniac Games - (pin)Ballz
Jukebox the Ghost - Half Crazy
Kink Ador - Animal
Madlife - Everyone
Nightrage - A Grim Struggle
Nightshade - The Depths of Memory
Steve Fister - Zig Zag Talk
The Walkmen - Angela Surf City
So there you have it, another week of DLC. I personally like the Steve Fister song and that Andromeda solo is just insane. What tickles your fancy?
