2010 Australian Gamer Awards

As yet another glorious year in the grand kingdom that is Gaming draws to an inevitable close, we here at Australian Gamer believe that it’s time to cast our minds back on the very best –and very worst – of our collective favourite pastime. That’s right; it’s the 2010 Australian Gamer Awards season!

Starting December 13th and rolling all the way through until Christmas Eve, we are going to give away the twelve most prestigious awards in all of gaming, celebrating the various fineries of our most beloved hobby. Then, to kick off the New Year with a bang we’ll have our full-on top Five on January 1st.

What awards are up for grabs, I hear you ask? Just how prestigious can they be? Take a look at the full list for yourselves:

14th - “Holy crap!” Moment of the Year
15th - Most Outstanding Soundtrack or Sound Design
16th - 2010's Biggest Disappointment
17th - 2010's Biggest surprise
18th - The Broken Controller Award for Most Frustrating Gameplay
19th - The John Laws Golden Microphone Award for Excellence in Voice Acting
20th - The Nathan Drake’s Perfect Face Award for Visual Excellence
21st - The Kim Yong Il award for Best Villain
22nd - The Breakfast Club 2 Award for Most Unnecessary Sequel
23rd - 2010 Developer of the Year
24th - The 2010 Australian Gamer Golden Turd Award
