Win - A Double Pass To EA's Community Night

We’ve had some fairly awesome giveaways over the years but this one sits right up high on the amazing scale. Electronic Arts has sent us 20 double passes for an upcoming community event night in Sydney where they will be showing off 2 of their soon to be released video games.

The first game is from a veteran designer who started off in the gaming industry working on titles such as Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom II, Quake, Hexen and Quake II. They then went on to create a dark and twisted world which showed us a very different Alice that some of us were familiar with… This person also slapped their name on the games title. If you hadn’t guessed it by now that last one basically just gave it away!

Alice: Madness Returns is the follow up to American McGee’s Alice which was well received by critics when it was released over 10 years ago. Now I know I’m keen as hell to see this new one... but that’s not all EA has on offer…

Shadows of the Damned is the 2nd title you can drool over on the night, and if you haven’t heard of this game then you should be slapping yourself to wake up because the names behind this one are absolutely insane. This baby is a collaboration effort between Goichi Suda (Suda51) - known for the No More Heroes series, Shinji Mikami - the creator of the Resident Evil series, and Akira Yamaoka - the composer for the Silent Hill series.

The night will be a very exclusive event where you could be one of the first people in Australia to play both Alice: Madness Returns and Shadows of the Damned. There will be plenty of food and drinks going around while you check everything out plus they will be giving away some epic prizes so you could score yourself something cool like an awesome Turtle Beach headset. Not only that but American McGee (Senior Creative Director - Alice: Madness Returns), Ken Wong (Art Director - Alice: Madness Returns), and Suda51 (Executive Director - Shadows of the Damned) will be making an appearance on the night to meet and greet everybody.

All of this will be going down in Sydney on Friday 20th May 2011 - starting from 6pm onwards. Terms and Conditions:
1) Entrants and their selected pass partner must be 18 years old or above.
2) The event is located in Sydney. You must be able to make your own way to and from the venue. Accommodation / travel will not provided.
3) Winners will be selected at 8pm EST on Sunday 15th May 2011.
4) All Winners will be contacted via email by 8pm EST on Monday 16th May 2011.
5) Winners must respond via email by 8pm EST on Tuesday 18th May 2011 or tickets will be reallocated.
